With a diverse career that spans solo recitals, ensemble and theatre, Neyire Ashworth is one of the UK’s most versatile clarinetists. A founder member of the Britten-Pears Ensemble, with whom she toured Britain and the USA and recorded Jolivet and Frank Martin for ASV, she now plays with the New London Chamber Ensemble. Recent solo projects include Stenclmusic, a music theatre work for actress/clarinetist, tape and projection, which will show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007.

Paul Barritt combines a busy career as recitalist, chamber musician, concerto soloist and teacher. He is Permanent Guest Leader of the Halle Orchestra, having previously held the position of leader of the Northern Sinfonia and the English Chamber Orchestra. Solo engagements in recent seasons have included performances of Bach Double Concerto with Maxim Vengerov (at the 2000 Proms) and concertos with the Istanbul Philharmonic, L'Orchestre de Picardie, the Strasbourg Philharmonic, the Ulster Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

Daniel Becker has received acclaim for his interpretations of standard and contemporary repertoire. First prizewinner at the 2003 British Contemporary Piano Competition, he has given debut performances at Wigmore Hall, the Purcell Room, Salle Cortot, Paris and the Weill Recital Hall, New York. Daniel has recently recorded a CD of chamber music by Alexander Goehr for Meridian Records and solo piano music by Howard Skempton for Black Box.
